This afternoon, the sister of Fr George, Ms. Ruth Wanjiku, and his cousin, Fr Gerald, returned from Ethiopia. Upon arrival they confirmed what we feared: there is NO BODY for burial. Instead they were permitted to bring back soil from the crash site. This is true for all families whose relatives perished last Sunday.
We are currently finalizing details for the final send off and funeral of our Confrere which will most likely take place this Friday, the 22nd of March 2019.
